Judging Results |
funny dank nose, tyres/car shop/grease? florals, bigger style, sourness up front
Varnishy oak elements and lacking some freshness and vibrancy.
Red zipper, bubblegum, jubey fruit but reigned in with charry tannin, juicy acidity, va paint barrel?
lifted vanilla aroma, red fruits and pepper, tar & varnish on palate
Aromatically slightly on the more stale side but the wine had vibrancy deep within it. There is a real depth of fruit profile with lots of interesting berry notes as well as some larger plum character.
