Judging Results |
Bronze
spearmint minty lift on the nose, greener profile, sweet and sours palate out of whack, drying tannins
Floral, red fruited and vibrant but minty elements dominate the nose. Crunchy texture and tannins in check
Simple blackcurrant pastille, simple one dimensional palate
menthol dominated nose, savoury spices
dark fruits on palate, good tannin structure. Nice wine beside nose
Plush ripeness of the fruit, no hollowness on the mid palate which creates complexity. Condition of fruit is lovely, but just heavy handed in the final construction of the wine.
