Judging Results |
oaky stale, oxy, very primary berry, bandaid/Smoke/brett?
Inky hue. Lactone oak dominates the palate, mulberry and a hint of lavander. Dense and rich wine, oak providing density and slightly chewy tannin on the finish
Portly licorice, baked fruit, warm on finish, clunky oak and tannin profile
dank oak nose masking black fruits on menthol
same on palate, chewy tannin, hints of chocolate, lacks freshness
Really rounded, dark inky fruits; black plums and milk chocolate. Oak adding a sweetness that is already found in the wine so the compounding result is resoundingly confection like.
