a lot going on on the nose. some tropical fruits, some spoilage yeast characters and some lifted ketone gluey notes. Some fruit fullness at the front palate, the finish however is hard work due to the high phenolics, acid and spoilage yeast characters all working against each other. |
Skinsy aromatics, nutty and smokey. Brett imparting a distinctive savoury/ smokey edge. Oily, then sour plums and bitter grapefruit skins. Brave style however brett is having a negative effect aromatically |
Mandarin skin hue, pith, peel and flesh on the nose. Coriander and ginger root. The palate has more of a slick than I expected - was pitching for bitter granular phenolics to hold together the bouquet garni fruit. Hint of nappy or some such character on both the nose and palate. Finishes shorter than expected. Applaud the style and the process, but feel like this rendition lacks texture and length. |
very pronounced nose. rose, camomile. very delicate bubble very quickly dessipear. grassy stalky palette. lemon pith, bergamont. Granny Smith tartness to finish |
Pastel apricot pink. Spearmint, papaya, herbal, sweaty aromatics. Tight phenolics through the mid palate cuts the finish. Quite light, dilute and herbal |
