savoury and leathery on nose. mid palate is ok but drys out at the back

Forward, mushrooms and earthy. Past its peak

2006. Aged. The tannins have really softened and receded into the fruit now... leather, spice, salted mulberry... fresh finish

obvious colour of maturation. caramelised toffee nutty, vanilla, figs, Christmas cake spices. still retaining acidity and structure

Brickey in colour and on palate. Cigar box profile with out the weight of oak. Prunes and chamomile tea. Fantastic to see in line up, but I feel just past it.
