2006. Aged. The tannins have really softened and receded into the fruit now... leather, spice, salted mulberry... fresh finish |
obvious colour of maturation. caramelised toffee nutty, vanilla, figs, Christmas cake spices. still retaining acidity and structure |
Brickey in colour and on palate. Cigar box profile with out the weight of oak. Prunes and chamomile tea. Fantastic to see in line up, but I feel just past it. |
