mod poor, wishy washy, high pH , lacks charm |
Pruney medjool date nose, lacks primary freshness. Palate is tannic and full, the oak present also. There is an attractive mariposa plum character wedged into the middle of this wine that endures through the finish. Some white pepper. |
red currants, some savouy lift, slight dried out by oak. hollow finish |
showing some ageing notes in the colour and also in the aromas like raisins. tannins still quite present. just misses a bit of life but overall a good wine. |
Subtle savoury developed notes. Vanilla oak. Pleasnant soft palate, delicate, mature tannins. Nice wine but lost primary fruit. |
