dark brooding, warm spice filled nose, fine tannins , oak slightly distracting |
This is very good - texturally complex, layered flavours and spices, really classy wine - plenty to commend. Sophisticated and kind of rustic too, both things add considerably to its charm |
pithy, leather, gamey spice, solid. sherbert, fine boned, lovely energy to the palate. |
mulberry notes. the oak seems a bit not well integrated. tannins quite chalky. |
xmas cake, cedary oak, raisins. Big juicy palate with plenty of oak. Currants and dark fruit galore but oak stands out too much for gold |
