great colour, pox, foxy, dryed out |
Hint of reduction or something similar on the nose - it blows off with aeration. This has a neon colour. The rubbery characters remain, although they are lessened. The fruit on the palate is cool - but the tannins have a metallic edge which detracts from the enjoyment of the experience. Ultimately a few too many distracting elements here to just settle back and enjoy the beautiful parts about this wine. |
dark brooding fruits, coffee bean, cocao nib, hint of animal there? palate a bit stripped and furry |
intense purple colour. dark wild berry jam. a touch animal in the palate. |
Deep red/purple. Saline, soy, plum skin. Nice density, light mid palate, dark fruits/plum, subtle xmas cake, dry tannins. |
