nice purples, blue fruits , little too lifted , varnishy characters on palate
fair swag of oak there, little dried out, lactone bounty, sweetness of fruit, lacking varietal definition
Nose has a piquant lift character, lovely silky mouthfeel - plenty of black fruit and berry sweetness. The flavour perhaps stops a touch short, but there is joy here.
medicinal, bay leaves, herbal, dark brambly fruits, a little gravelly tannin
coconut, vanilla, spice, savoury, lacking generosity, savoury, but struggle to see how fruit will age over oak.
