Judging Results
Medal / Award Silver
Judge 1 mod gold, secondary development hot buttered toast and limey fruits, good acid drive on the palate little warming but interesting.
Judge 2 toasty, fusal, nice development, lacking a touch of finesse and backbone.
Judge 3 Riz. Toasty, grilled apple skin, lime florals. Waxy palate. Very alive and great fresh acidity. Fruit flavours have a savoury/sour edge moving into the finish. Not as seamless as the front and nose suggests.
Associate Judge burnt lime, toasty brioche, strong acid line lemon pie, a little charry bonfire on the back palate
Associate Judge Toasty, mineral, toasty, lime brûlée, pretty good for a rizza. maybe touch too much phenolics???? And maybe a touch too developed for its age. But overall nice to drink. well done. Too full on for it age.
