mod colour, oak obvious , ok finer tannin , reduced, savoury flavours
colour looks a little forward, hint of meat / oxo cube, fruit a little dried out, rustic charm
Slightly less bright in colour than its peers, the nose shows the oak sitting on top of the blackberry fruit. Palate is structured, tannins are very fine, fruit is bright and fresh. An interesting wine. Elegant. Oak is a little too obvious at this stage, however that may change in time, given the concentrated fruit.
eucalypt, choc mint touch oxidative bruised apples, med body, palate fatigued back palate structure ok.
Lifted, pungent, violets, hint liquorice, touch green stalks. Mod weight, nice acid, liquorice, touch thin on finish. Hint musty on finish.
