great colour, rich oak fruit interplay on nose, fine structure length oak OTT?
a bit meaty and savoury notes, touch lifted and rustic, oak a bit pushy, big wine, little oob.
Nose has a stewed fruit/boiled lolly character, palate lacks freshness - aftertaste leaves impression of stewed rhubarb. Acidity is good.
dark fruit, bit tapenade, evident oak, vanilla, chewy tannin, powerful wine
Chocolate, pie crust, hint bramble bush and sarsaparilla. Soft, generous, seductive front palate. Lovely fine coating tannins. Fresh, clean flavours. Some good complexity, pretty yummy
