pale, herbal edged funky nose , nice grip and drive , oak obvious but not dominant long
pretty funky / grubby style, wfsf, tropical exotic fruits. nice line and length. good wine.
There is a lot of oak here - both on the nose and palate. It's too much. BUT the fruit is powerful and the wine structured - the spicy finish layered with white pepper, saffron, turmeric, bright malic acidity and lashings of brine, fresh oysters and a squeeze of lemon. There is yellow peach, green mango and fingerlime... a whisper of lemon curd... yes.
preserved lemons, white flowers persistence, great texture, quite subtle but nothing out of place
oak dominate, cashews, almonds, nice. Good complexity and balance, nice mealy and nutty characters throughout. Has a lot to give. Great length. yes its oaky but well made and balanced.
