mod gd colour, beany , little forward soft structure ok
savoury edge, hint of polony there, sweetness to palate, lots of oak, powerful and dense, RS? tannins lacking a little detail and finesse.
Strawberry, blackcurrant, sage and black pepper. Palate has nice balance. Length of flavour is moderate only. Quite tannic, but doesn't have the structure to go with it. Pretty, and eminently drinkable.
my herb garden, thyme, sage, mint, palate quite similar cooling fresh acid, chewy tannin, touch of caramel back palate
Green peppercorn, musty, tapenade. Nice juicy front palate, tannins a touch overbearing and slightly dominating on finish. Wine has some nice fruit - juicy mid palate but may be a bit one dimensional. Touch drying throughout is its drawback.
