deep colour, little bath salty on nose , oak slippery and rewarding but lacks some complexity and length.
solid, lots of powerful fruits, richer and golden in colour and spectrum, pretty oily and massive, good old school style, lacking freshness and too much artefact for fruit.
One can smell the heat of summer on the vines in this glass - the palate is ripe and powerful. Perhaps it does not have the delicate nuance in the top notes for it to be a gold, but this is a beautiful wine. Good length of flavour.
saline nose, soapy, blanched almonds, bruised fruits, over ripe stone fruits
Touch flint. SO2 reduction, funk call it what you will, lime brûlée. Great weight on palate, creamy, SO2 dominate because otherwise the fruit and complexity would be a great call.
