Medal / Award
Judge 1 deep colour, muted little scalped nose , palate course and a touch hard
Judge 2 cloudy? riper peachy fruits, lots of sunny fruit, little coarse and pasty
Judge 3 Geraldton wax, pear and a clap of chalk. Palate has a refreshing feel, although there is some density through the finish which is incongruent. A touch of oiliness on the palate. Not a bad thing.
Associate Judge blossom, honeyed peaches, brioche, lemon curd, lemon thyme, red apple juice concentrate.
Associate Judge muggy, meaty, dirty, verdelho like, orange peel, high spritz, nice move, some texture from oak, slightly drying, finishes savoury, tad disjointed.
