gd colour, high char but complex nose, oaky palate but some freshness ok
colour a little advanced, golden quincy pear fruits, lots of oak there, little old school, riper tropical fruits. well balanced none the less.
Plenty of winery input on the nose here - crushed slate, spice, limestone and oak. The palate is spicy, yet somehow not powerful - the fruit builds in crescendo and then falls away underneath the oak...
flinty, sesame, lemon curd, brioche, persistent. very morish.
Oaky char, dominates the palate as well. shame as good texture, nice SO2 edge and hint of lime acidity.
