great colour, juicy fruits redolent in apricot and ginger snap spice, textural yet remains fresh and long vg
little bot? lifted vio, orange blossom / VA? sweet, oak, textural, fuller bodied, like driving an oak tractor into a wall of apricots. and living to tell the tale.
Waxy green pear, crushed white shell, ground white pepper, grated green apple skin... palate is chalky and textural, there is a lot of satisfaction here. An oiliness here that is enjoyable - this needs a high acid, fresh meal to complement. Perhaps the acidity could be construed as a touch flabby... but with hints of sesame, geraldton wax and lanolin there's a lot to chew on.
riper white stone fruits, nougat, almonds, minerality, honeysuckle, a lot going on beautiful length and texture
lifted, apricot skin, peach fuzz, hint toasty, nice weight and texture, some fine phenolics, well balanced with spice. Finish is a tad hot and chewy - would to see a cleaner fin.
