Judge 1	Exuberant and zinny smelling: date fig walnut tart. If it is this s pretty good. Rich and figgy date, with some patissieres cream. but the heat builds at the back, and takes over. pepper on the lips.
Judge 2	rum and coke, Christmas cake, inky, paddy note big bold wine, forward generous palate, big tannins, big wine, lacks some definition on the palate.
Judge 3	deep ruby, light pigment - dark, brooding fruits with adequate spice box. quite nicely done, a little bit of up front barrel extract is well appointed. juicy firm tannins, great length, some pretty peppery notes are lingering and acids are delicious.
Associate Judge	Herbal - lots of dried herb and not much fruit this carries through on the palate which lacks freshness and finishes with dry tannins
