Oak dominate this: and the oak is rather floaty. There is fruit sweetness however. Reminds me of that bakkheia or whatever it was. The fruit is sweet and dense however. Sweet and with melting almost nebby tannins. Shame a bout the wood, because the fruit is fab: lush and succulent. Will go up if it's just me on the oak.
big bold oak upfront, unrelenting over time, coconut, savoury fruit underneath, ripe, generous flavours, black fruit evolve, fine chalky slippery tannins, concentrated dense palate. long black fruit length, solid
a couple of iffy characters here. lacking a bit of fruit clarity. oak is pointed. a nice nut/carab aroma.
acids are higher than expected, focused at the front of the tongue - leaves the finish a bit short
violets and rose leaves a bit of molasses and cherries some bunchiness and tannins to go with a bit stalky on finish VA on back
