A bit saw dusty, some resin, fruit a bit veneered. Ages? Mandarin. Has flavour and a Thai lemon grass kaffir character. Nah: galangal. Lively in the mouth. And a mouth-sucking lees finish. A strange one but not without merit.
|
white stone fruit, charry oak and solids/gunpowder notes at front, tart/slatey acid on palate, oak persist through palate, open ups to give lovely white stone fruit, nashi pear pith, complex

riper spectrum but some nice leesy notes keeps this wine in check. that little bit of ripe lime pulls me away from this wine a bit but still super enticing.
acids are spot on, a loose nuttiness stirs interest, finish it's a little short.
|
Dollops of creamy vanillin and toasty oak white peach fruit and roasted hazelnuts. A well constructed with plenty of flavour layering and dimension particularly good acidity to carry
