Box hedge and raw smelling. Plum rhubarb. All a bit diffuse. And as it tastes, with a slightly singed rhubarb finish.
|
black fruits, dark chocolate, all spice, violets, leafy a cascade of aromatics, bold palate, juicy, unctuous, ripe plush tannins, velvety, blsnced acid, touch of lift but good. Brambly length, long.
|
here we go. I can smell a vineyard here. great and varied fruit spectrum, brightness and lightness, vine derived spice, still opulent and bold.
Palate is sound, lacks a touch of the crunch I was hoping for. solid and bright. acids are just missing a bit of presence for me.

Meatiness and ripe red berries complex oak shavings presents well. Juicy palate perhaps a little on jammy side.
