Dark inky carbon papery. Glistens. Some garibaldi. Has juice and crispness. How it tastes: sapid, pippy, a bit dried in a dried fruit way. Chewy tannins, which are interesting in shape. mouth-sucking.
subdued nose, licorice black fruits show. tannins forward and mawkish evolve in suppleness. solid wine
heavily pigmented - blue fruits, soft pepper, wild violet, oak in check. nice nose
well structured palate, plush but tart collection of black and blue fruits and some nice lift from the acidity. Fruit derived tannins are terrific. well done
Good colour. Ripe plums skins plenty of blacks hint of anise. Ripe palate however somewhat monolithic with chalky finish
