Rose, but really almost indole and cineole. And hard work in the mouth.
Plum and herbal/cherry wood/varnish mix, brambly stalk notes, complex. Juicy fresh palate upfront, cherry/plum, star-anise, alcohol warmth but balanced, tannins forward, bold, plump and supple. generous integrated with long fruit length.
spearmint/raspberry nose. the spearmint is a bit too pointed for me. Lovely brooding black fruits tucked in behind it, but...
structurally very good. wonderful weight. savoury edge is winning. good length.
spice and licorice sweet forest berries, sweetness is a lolly like factor offsetting somewhat the dry tannin feel
