Odd cardboard almost smoke smell about this. But drops away. Does have that smoke taint like skeins running through, and rapidly dries to close. Really don't think that the characters in this wine can be attributed to grower or maker.

Brett? - Strawberries, red/black fruit mix, aniseed cedary charry notes come through supportive oak, dense lush palate, ripe generous black fruits, brambly, herbal, horsey/Brett, firm chewy tannins

pretty / interesting nose. nicely woven fruit and florals with a perfect lick of char. Good introduction.
palate is rich with interesting savoury attributes. well structured and adorned with length. great effort.

mulberry and plum grainy tannin quite savoury to brittle fruit pulls short some nice hazelnut on finish
