Has earth, iron: power. Deep red-black fruit and plum skin: dried banana. Plentty going on in the mouth as well here. Wood is good also. Excellent weight and power, perhaps a bit dried through the middle. But worked well. Fab tannins. Wet iron. Some sourdough crust. Sme white pepper also: so some grenache or mourvèdre in here?
vegetal, green slight reductive note, forward grainy drying tannins, sour cherry, evolves to vibrant red fruits green pepper length
instantly attractive nose. composted, roasted, spiced and served whilst maintaining excellent varietal character. This has all the things.
Palate is well weighted, serious tannins are fruit driven and the length is acceptable. great, powerful wine with vineyard integritty.
Bright plum fruit and red cherry oak subtle. Leaner on the palate and heading dry and gingery oak finish. Lacks a bit mid palate fruit. Slightly dry finish
