Violet carbon paper. Maybe a bit too violet lozenge. Has density and fruitcake. tannins have shape and length. No hint of hardness. Not super complex, but a tasty lunchtime claret.
gherkin/leafy minty notes upfront, red fruits, red licorice layered, cassis, black fruits to fore, choc mint persist as undertone, elegant cabernet fine ripe powdery persistent tannins. Good length.
ripping nose, peppers and earth underneath some very classy fruit. pickled habaneros and nicely restrained blackberry is a powerful combo here. love it.
palate is well weighted and not weighed down by any artefact. good length. taught fruit tannins. a little more plush on the palate which works well.
tabacco currants cassis touch leafy quite elegant. Red berry burst juicy and juby soft and simple. A little tannin sticky coffee mocha finish ok
