Also walnut prune, but fresher. There's dense cocoa, but also a guaiacol charater (is there a cork in this?). A bit singed. Thick rose-stonefruit perfumed. Potent.
Lovely cherry/red fruits with nutmeg spice and aniseed, generous palate, firm chalky tannins building, crescendo, red/plum fruits persist. Dusty chalky tannins a touch overwhelming and coarse on back palate.
tidy dark fruit spectrum, cocoa and bright, bright aromatics.
Plate is darker with some pretty austere textural components. heavy grip really needs food, moderate length.
Cough syrup. Medical and vanillin overriding otherwise dark cherry fruit. Micro unclean
