Deep and dark, has some tar (in a good way). Some pie crust earth. Structure is solid here, and tannins are - again – built well: wet and dry. But there's just a shortage of underlying fruit. Opens up well. Deep powerful tannins in here.
cherry fruits explosion, blackcurrents, dark berries, floral notes, bright entry, vibrant, firm, chalky tannins, youthful, warmth and concentration, touch hot if anything. persistent chewy black fruits good wine.
serious nose. restrained, mineral, this wine seems to be waiting for something. I'm excited to know what.
palate is unreal. unbridled energy surges the fruit to the back of the palate and keeps pushing. Everything is there in droves. balanced and brilliant.
Red licorice and spice subtle oak mocha. Simple yet spicy palate with some good savoury texture. A little chalky finishing
