Judge 1 Deep dark and thick again, just a bit lacking in life. But there's amazing fruit concentration. Fig coal dust.
Judge 2 savoury, woody spice, gherkin/lifted note, plums and licorice. Very warm palate upfront, chalky tannins, good fruit concentration solid wine. lingering spice.
Judge 3 ripe, spiced and bright. Bouquet is very attractive. could benefit from an extra layer or two of complexity.
palate is straight up and down. Acids are a touch sharp. maybe even a bit green
Associate Judge Raspberry coulis and star anise. Threshold Brett savoury and metallic character pervading the palate leading to a drying finish
